Wowee – what a term we’ve had! It has been bursting with fun, adventure and unforgettable experiences for the children on our senior programme.
We kicked things off in spectacular style with an aerial activity session, where our committee members enthusiastically got involved (while demonstrating exactly how not to do it!). Since then we’ve been busy cooking up delicious treats, creating fantastic artwork, making a splash at swimming, and enjoying everything from golf and bowling to multi-sports.
Our trips have been just as memorable. We loved outings to Matilda and Noughts & Crosses, enjoyed an action-packed weekend at Thruxton Race Circuit with the brilliant NT219 Motorsports team, shared special mentor and mentee outings, and made the most of the glorious sunshine with picnics and time outdoors.
Alongside all the fun, we also had the privilege of welcoming the fantastic team from Progressive Masculinity to deliver an inspiring workshop for our boys, exploring positive male role models. The boys engaged brilliantly, making it an incredibly rewarding couple of days for everyone involved.
The support we’ve received this term has been nothing short of amazing. We were honoured to be one of the charities supported by the HBT5, grateful to Vicolo Lounge in Andover for choosing us as their Charity of the Month in June, and delighted to be one of the charities benefiting from The Artful Duck’s current art competition.
Our supporters have continued to inspire us too. A fantastic tennis tournament raised vital funds, one incredible volunteer was ready to tackle the Welsh 3000s, and another has conquered the Marathon des Sables—one of the world’s toughest ultramarathons—all in support of KoT.
We are completely blown away by your generosity, encouragement and belief in what we do. Thank you for helping us create so many opportunities, adventures and lifelong memories for our children. We couldn’t do it without you.
