Wow! We had a MEGA few days at our Summer Camp – the words buzzy, funny, exciting and ice cream van spring to mind.
* Firstly and very importantly there was a promotion amongst the KoT volunteers – yes this is big news: a new Head of Bushcraft – he was so good and we are so excited to welcome Angus! The kids just loved the whole bushcraft experience.
There were so many brilliant activities for the kids to get stuck into including scaling the heights of the mobile climbing wall, we actually managed to persuade Kiki to get up there – just the once and never again apparently.
We tie-dyed t-shirts, we cooked pasta, we were lucky enough to have the Head of Simply Health visit us with a great talk from Bright Bites about cleaning our teeth – don’t forget those top tips boys and girls!
Basketball led by Bulford Bob Cats, tennis, bushcraft, a bbq for everyone, golf – we feel another promotion incoming – how could anyone resist the title of Head of KoT Golf?
And finally the one and only Sharky and George came in to exhaust us all, with a mini sports day followed by a BBQ and ice cream van.
We said goodbye to 17 kids who have graduated from KoT but they now move on to our Senior Programme. Good luck and see you very soon.
