Our summer camp at Farleigh school was undoubtedly one of our best camps ever. 42 superstar children took part in a three day extravaganza of fun and activity in the sunshine, helped by a team of wonderful volunteers who arrived each day with bags of energy and enthusiasm. There really was something for everyone: football, cooking, tie-dyeing t-shirts, making music, jewellery making, dodgeball, yoga and a seriously silly sports day finale. Our wonderful Kids on Track children seized every opportunity to give everything a try, and even those a tad apprehensive about their Downward Dog in yoga were soon in the zen!
As always, the Summer Camp meant saying au revoir to a few children as they ‘graduate’ from Kids on Track. This is always a bittersweet moment when the time comes for a child to move on; and we know, and hope, we have done our job in helping nurture and encourage each and every child.
