Having cycled to Penzance and back again it is safe to say we are EXHAUSTED!
We were so grateful when Macey at Currys got in touch with Kiki at HQ to suggest this brilliantly bonkers idea – and what an idea – cycling the distance of Andover to Penzance and BACK AGAIN – all whilst in the comfort of hanging out in Currys so no lycra required – phew. What a challenge and one we couldn’t say no to!
Over the week we limbered up and cycled off, we were so thrilled with the amount of support we got from the children (who if we are being honest probably did half the miles), the staff at Currys (who if we are being even more honest, probably did the other half), families, mentors and their mentees, our volunteers and the general public.
We had a target of £1000 and we SMASHED it – raising over £1400!! We are so thrilled with this and are excited to get spending and spoiling our KoT kids.
