What a fantastic way to end the KOT year. 52 children aged 9-12 years arrived full of Christmas excitement and adrenalin ahead of their action-packed day. As ever we were supported by our fantastic volunteers and committee members who drove minibuses, ran activities, lead teams, and encouraged and mentored the children throughout the day.
Volunteers ran Arts & Crafts, Cookery, Face Painting and Nail Art, Hot Chocolate Café, Games & Sports, and Mitch and Caitlin from Integr8 dance school taught everyone a hip hop / street dance routine to Kylie Minogue’s XMAS. Everyone gathered in the theatre at the end of the day for a 2 team dance off which was great fun as well as enlightening!
We couldn’t do it without so many willing volunteers. We are sincerely very appreciative of everyone’s time, commitment and smiling faces.
