What a way to close out the summer holidays – CarFest had it all and for so many of the KoT children, this was a festival first.
A huge thank you to Garden for Mind for giving us this bonus opportunity – the children were fantastic helping on the stand giving demonstrations of how to make garden ponds and beetle dens and coordinated the ‘Dig-it’ games brilliantly as a team. We all loved exploring the festival in the afternoon. The Army stand was a particular hit with some impressive efforts on the hanging bars, notwithstanding the distraction (& noise!) of all the racing cars – a full day of entertainment and one we all maxed to the hilt. Glastonbury next!
