Home About

Providing children from disadvantaged areas of Andover opportunities they might never experience.

Kids on Track provides activity camps during the holidays, after school clubs, trips and visits, educational workshops and mentoring opportunities.

Children join our Junior Programme from the age of 9 and transition through to our Senior Programme at 13 and are with us until they are 16. This long term approach enables us to have a real impact through building trust, resilience and confidence. 95% of the children believe this is exactly what Kids on Track has done for them.

However MOST importantly we are all about having fun. We believe childhood should be fun.

Harley’s story

Harley was one of the first children to join Kids on Track.

Aged nine, Harley and his Mum moved to the Crisis Centre in Andover having escaped from a tricky time in London. School was a struggle for Harley, perhaps a few too many trips to see the Head.

Harley never missed a day of Kids on Track. One of our first trips was to the Army base at Bulford where the children sat in tanks, held guns of various sizes and learnt all about life in the army.

Fast forward eight years, Harley has now completed his first few years at the Army training college in Harrogate. He has passed his lorry driving test and now plans to drive for the army. He says that the day he spent at the army base with Kids on Track totally inspired him to enrol and he has not looked back.

Whenever Harley has time off he comes back to volunteer for KoT.He is an absolute super star, we are so proud to call him a KoT graduate.

New adventures for Amari.

From the minute he arrived, Amari always brought a beaming smile and a willingness to try everything at each of our holiday activity camps. His enthusiasm was infectious, so too was his hunger to learn.

After a few years, we introduced Amari to Springboard, a charity which facilitates 100% bursaries to a large number of independent schools in the UK. Over 150 hopeful children tried for only two places at Bryanston, an independent school in Somerset. Bryanston recognised Amari’s potential and awarded him a place. In 2023, Amari started boarding and has since totally embraced Bryanston life, acting in plays, singing in house competitions and representing his new school for rugby, football and athletics. Most importantly Amari is always surrounded by friends.

We are so proud of all Amari is achieving and are really excited for the future ahead.
